Jason Bassani
Adelaide, Australia
Jason Bassani is a Final Year Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) Student from the University of South Australia. He undertook independent research and compiled a presentation titled “The Gig Economy”. He was inspired by this project due to the current rise in Gig Economy workers globally and the novel work, health and safety issues relating to this.
Jason has a strong interest in all things Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, including and ways in which we can optimise and prevent workplace related injury and promote all aspects of health in the workplace.

Lauren Pike and Erin Watson
Adelaide, Australia
Lauren Pike and Erin Watson are recently graduated physiotherapists from the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) programme at the University of South Australia. They conducted a project and developed a resource called "Active Travel to Uni: A Guide".
They were inspired by this project as both had an interest in active lifestyle change and environmental health.
Lauren (originally from a town called Mount Gambier) and Erin (originally from a small country town of Millicent) will start their careers as musculoskeletal physiotherapists in a private practice from 2022.

María Constanza Trillos is a Physiotherapist, professor at the physiotherapy faculty at the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia. Her areas of interest are musculoskeletal (MD) disorders, assessment, preventive MD, and manual therapy.

Weersak Tapanya is a PhD student in the Department of Physical Therapy, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. His areas of interest are musculoskeletal disorders, biomechanics and physical rehabilitation.

Jessica Stanhope

Jessica Stanhope is from Adelaide, Australia. She is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Adelaide, having finished her PhD at the University in 2020. Jessica is interested in occupational and environmental health, from both a clinical and public health perspective.

Elin Östlind
Lund, Sweden
Elin comes from Dalby, a small village outside of Lund in southern Sweden and are doing her PhD at Lund University.
She is a registered physical therapist and PhD-student (about halfway through her studies).
Her areas of interest are physical activity, work ability and e-health, especially related to osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders.

Pongsatorn Saiklang is a PhD student in Human Movement Sciences, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. His areas of interest are musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomics in back/neck. He received his bachelor’s in Physical therapy from Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, Thailand in 2015.

Nancy Wanyonyi
Eldoret, Kenya
Nancy is the head of the Physiotherapy program at the College of Health Science at Moi University. Her interest is in occupational health, musculoskeletal assessment and management which includes Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT). She also has a keen interest in low back and neck pain.

Glykeria is an Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy at Coventry University and are currently working both clinically and academically. Her areas of interest are occupational health and musculoskeletal disorders, sports rehabilitation, Education and teaching strategies.
